Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot tweeted on Tuesday, “Under the guidance of CM Arvind Kejriwal, we always try to make services simple. Self-registration dealers in Delhi can now issue provisional registration certificates for new vehicles sold from their outlets.”
In an English-quoted conversation, Delhi government officials said that till now, usually, vehicles purchased from Delhi by residents of neighboring states are issued a provisional registration certificate by the Motor Licensing Officer (MLO) of the Regional Transport Office (RTO). was. According to transport department officials, this is a step towards empowering vehicle dealers to finally issue genuine RCs.
