Till now no official statement has come from the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) regarding the constable result and for this reason the candidates are confused. After the declaration of the result of the written examination, the selected candidates will have to undergo a physical test. On the basis of written test applicants will be called for physical efficiency test in prescribed proportion. The final merit list for selection to the post of constable will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate in all the three competitions, running, high jump and shot put subject to physical efficiency test. Appointment to the post of constable will be done only after passing the physical test.
