Along with this, the Meteorological Center of Himachal Pradesh has issued an orange alert regarding heavy rain, snowfall, thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of the state. This alert has been issued for Chamba, Kangra and Lahaul-Spiti districts, and the reason for this is the collective effect of heavy snowfall and rain in late February. The Meteorological Center has said that there was a drought in the state in the recent past, but now there has been a sudden change in the weather and it was necessary to issue an alert.

This step has been taken keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the students and examinees. They will have to wait for the announcement of new dates. Also, it has been said that the examinations in other parts of the state will be held as per schedule.
