New Delhi: Bank of Baroda has increased the interest rates on Fixed Deposit ie FD (BOB FD Interest Rate). This state-owned bank has increased the interest rates on FDs up to Rs 2 crore. Due to this, the interest rate on BOB FD has reached 7.25 percent for ordinary citizens. At the same time, the rates for senior citizens have reached 7.75 per cent. The new interest rates on Bank of Baroda’s FDs have come into effect from May 12. After the increase in the repo rate in the past months, many banks have increased their interest rates on FDs. Due to this, the attraction of people towards FD has also increased.
7.75% interest on 399 days FD
Bank of Baroda is offering 7.25 per cent interest rate to general citizens and 7.75 per cent interest rate to senior citizens on 399 days FD. This is Baroda Tricolor Plus Deposit Scheme. This bank is offering an interest rate of 6.25 per cent to general citizens and 6.75 per cent to senior citizens on FDs of more than 10 years. On FDs of more than five years and up to 10 years, the bank is offering an interest rate of 6.5 per cent to general citizens and 7.50 per cent to senior citizens. On FDs of more than 2 years and up to 3 years, the bank is offering an interest rate of 7.05 per cent to general citizens and 7.55 per cent to senior citizens.

Bajaj Finance has also increased the rates
Earlier, Bajaj Finance has increased the interest rates on its FDs. The company on Wednesday announced an increase in its FD rates by up to 0.40 per cent. With this, the interest rate on Bajaj Finance’s FD for senior citizens has gone up to 8.60 per cent. The company is offering this interest rate to senior citizens on FDs with a tenure of 44 months. The increased interest rates are effective from May 10, 2023.
