Indian Railway – Many trains between Delhi and Jammu cancelled, routes and terminals changed in September due to heavy rains and floods; train numbers 12036, 12207, 14611 among others affected.

Cancelled Train: Due to heavy rains and floods, the water level of Yamuna Bridge in Old Delhi has gone above the danger mark. Keeping in mind the safety of passengers due to continuous torrential rains in the mountainous areas, it has been decided to cancel, divert and change the terminal of many trains. This decision will come into effect from April 4.
Train number 12036 Delhi-Tanakpur Express running from Delhi on September 4 will remain canceled. Apart from this, Chhapra-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Special (05193) will be canceled on 8, 15, 22, and 29 September and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan-Chhapra Special (05194) will be canceled on 10, 17, and 24 September. Kathgodam-Jammutvi (12207) and Jammutavi-Kathgodam (12208) Express will remain canceled on 9, 16, 23, 30 and 7, 14, 21, 28 September respectively.
Kathgodam-Kanpur Central (12210) and Kanpur Central-Kathgodam (12209) Express will also remain canceled on 8, 15, 22, 29 and 9, 16, 23, 30 September. Ghazipur City-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (14611) and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Ghazipur City (14612) Express will remain canceled on 5, 12, 19, 26 and 4, 11, 18, 25 September.
These trains will go via changed routes
Route change: From Delhi-Kishanganj-New Delhi-Sahibabad route, Tanakpur-Daurai Express (15092) from Sahibabad-Delhi-Delhi Sarai Rohilla route, Kathgodam-Jaisalmer Express (15014) and Azamgarh-Delhi Express (12225) from Sahibabad-New Delhi-Delhi route.
Stations of these trains changed
On September 4, Delhi-Kathgodam-Delhi Express (15035/15036) will run from Anand Vihar Terminus instead of Delhi and will terminate there. Bhagalpur-Jammutvi Express (15097) will terminate at Ambala Cantt on September 4, 11, 18 and Gorakhpur-Jammutvi Express (12587) will terminate at Ambala Cantt on September 8, 15, 29. Jammu Tawi-Bhagalpur (15098) and Jammu Tawi-Gorakhpur (12588) Express will run from Ambala Cantt instead of Jammu Tawi on 9, 16, 30 and 6, 13, 20 September.
