Train Cancelled News: As the cold weather intensifies, the situation has become such that both railway work and the weather are increasing the problems for passengers. For the next three months, travelers traveling on the Haryana and Punjab routes will face some inconvenience. Interlocking work is underway at Dhuri station. Large-scale redevelopment work is underway in Ludhiana, and fog has further worsened the situation.
As a result, many trains have been stopped. These routes are heavily traveled daily. Therefore, this will directly impact passenger planning. The Railways has already released the complete list so that people can replan their journeys without much difficulty.
Passenger difficulties increase during winter
Train operations become extremely difficult during winter. As always, passengers are facing difficulties this time too. Furthermore, the Railways has to halt many trains for maintenance. According to recent information, seven trains will be cancelled due to interlocking work.
Five trains will not run due to work in Ludhiana, while two trains will be cancelled due to fog. All these trains will be cancelled on different dates starting from December 3rd until February 27th. Therefore, it is important to check the train number and route before planning your journey.
Trains Cancelled Due to This
The Railways stated that several passenger and express trains will not run at Dhuri station until the interlocking work is completed. For example, the passenger train from Bhiwani to Dhuri will be suspended from December 3 to February 5 due to major interlocking work underway at Dhuri. Similarly, all trains from Dhuri to Sirsa, Sirsa to Ludhiana, Ludhiana to Bhiwani, Ludhiana to Hisar, Hisar to Amritsar, and Amritsar to Hisar will be cancelled from December 3 to February 5.
As for Ludhiana, a major renovation project is underway there, resulting in five different trains being cancelled from December 1 to February 23. Trains on the Hisar to Ludhiana, Ludhiana to Churu, Churu to Ludhiana, Ludhiana to Hisar, and Hisar to Ludhiana routes will be completely cancelled during this period. Ludhiana station is an important junction for Northern Railway, and therefore, the work here will impact several routes.
