CBSE Board Exam 2026: The online form submission process for CBSE board exams has started. Private students can apply. A notice has been issued regarding eligibility and important dates.
CBSE Board Exam 2026: A big update has come out for private students appearing in CBSE Board Exam 2026. Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an important notification. The process of filling the online form is going to start from September 9, which will continue till September 30. Both the application form and the fee will be accepted in online mode, offline or any other medium will not be allowed. Candidates will not be able to apply after the last date.
After submitting the form, candidates can download and keep a copy of it. Helpline can be used for any kind of problem. For which candidates can contact 1800-11-8002. This facility will be available on working days from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
This will be the fee
For private students, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 320 per subject. However, the fee slab will be different for students from Nepal and other countries. The late fee is Rs 2,000. On the other hand, class 12th students will have to pay a fee of Rs 160 for the practical exam.
These people are allowed to participate
Students who failed in board exams 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 can participate in it. Main and Supplementary Exam 2024-25 Candidates placed in the compartment category in the main and supplementary exams will also be allowed to apply. Candidates who failed in 2024-25 or have essential repeat can also be a part of it. Those who want to improve the score obtained in the examination held in 2025 can participate.
Admit card and roll number will be new
CBSE will allot new roll numbers to all the candidates. The entire process will be online for private students. There will be no need to go to school. Admit card and result will also be available online on the official website. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam on the basis of previous roll number.
