CBSE Board Exam 2025: CBSE 10th and 12th board exams are starting today, 15 February 2025. The 10th exam will start with English (Communicative), English (Language and Literature) subjects, while the 12th exam will start with the Entrepreneurship paper. The exams will run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Students have been advised to reach the exam center on time.
A total of more than 44 lakh students from India and abroad will appear in the CBSE board exams. CBSE 10th exams will be held from February 15 to March 18, while the 12th exams will run from February 15 to April 4.
What time is the exam
To appear in CBSE board exam, students need to follow some rules. The exam will start at 10:30 am, but students have to reach the center by 10 am. If they are late, they will not get entry into the exam center. Students will not be allowed to enter the exam center without admit card. CBSE Board had issued some important guidelines for the students appearing in the board exam. It is mandatory for every student to follow these instructions.
What should students wear to give exam
According to the guidelines issued by the board, regular students will have to wear their school uniform, while private students can wear light colored clothes. In CBSE board exam, students have to bring necessary ID card along with the admit card. School ID for regular students and government photo ID for private students. In the examination hall, they can bring stationery items like blue/royal blue ink/gel pen/ball point, scale, eraser, writing pad and geometry box in a transparent pouch. Apart from this, analog watch, transparent water bottle, wallet, purse and simple glasses are allowed.
What cannot be taken to the examination hall
Students cannot take these things with them in CBSE board examination, such as study material, pen drive, calculator, pieces of paper or any electronic gadget. Mobile, Bluetooth, earphones, smart watch and camera are also banned. Wallet, designer glasses and handbags are not allowed. Food items cannot be brought, only diabetic patients are exempted from this.
Keep these things in mind
Just before the CBSE board examination, students should avoid reading new things or memorizing them, because this can make you forget what you already know. Give the exam with a calm mind, think positive and write the answers carefully. Use the 15 minutes of reading time given before the paper starts properly, so that you can understand the questions well and solve them.
