CBSE New Notice: Important news has emerged for millions of students across the country. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a major update regarding the Class 10 and 12 board examinations scheduled for 2026. The board has changed the exam dates for some subjects scheduled for March 3, 2026. CBSE has issued a notification on its official website, cbse.gov.in, informing students and parents about this.

According to the CBSE, the dates of examinations originally scheduled for March 3, 2026, have been revised due to administrative reasons. The Class 10 exams will now be held on March 11, 2026. The new date for the Class 12 exams has been set for April 10, 2026.

The board has also clarified that, except for these subjects, all other exams will be conducted as per the previously scheduled schedule.

Information Reaching Students and Parents

CBSE has appealed to all affiliated schools to inform students and their parents of this change in a timely manner. The board has assured that a revised datesheet will be released soon, containing complete details of the new exam dates. Furthermore, the changed dates will also be updated on students’ admit cards.

Board exams to be held in a single shift

According to the board’s final plan, class 10th and 12th board exams will be held in a single shift. Most subjects will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Exam timings for select subjects have been partially changed, with exams scheduled from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

When will the exams be held?

CBSE has clarified that exams for all other subjects will be held as per the previously scheduled schedule. Only the dates for these selected subjects have been changed. CBSE 10th and 12th board exams will be held from February to April. Some 10th-grade papers will now be held on March 11th, and the 12th-grade Legal Studies exam will be held on April 10th. The remaining exams will be held as scheduled. Admit cards can be downloaded from the CBSE website by entering your roll number and other details.

How to download the admit card:

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website.
Step 2: Click on the “Admit Card” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your roll number, school number, and date of birth.
Step 4: Click Submit.
Step 5: The admit card will appear on the screen. Download and print it.
