CBSE has once again issued a reminder regarding LOC submission. The deadline for completing this task is September 30th. Private students can fill out their exam forms until this date. After this date, a late fee will be required.
CBSE Board Exams 2026: It is mandatory for students of grades 10th and 12th to submit their LOC before the CBSE Board Exams 2026. This process is still ongoing. Schools can submit the list of candidates appearing for the board exams by September 30, 2025. Failure to complete the work within the deadline will result in a late fee of ₹2,000. Therefore, students and parents must ensure that the LOC is submitted on time.
The LOC submission portal with late fees will be open from October 3rd to October 11th, 2025. After this, candidates will not be given any further opportunity. The Board has issued seven reminders in this regard so far. Students are advised to submit correct data (name, parent’s name, date of birth, etc.) and correct subjects. It is worth noting that board exam admit cards and results are issued based on the information provided in the LOC.
What are the fees?
The LOC submission fee is ₹1,600 for five subjects. ₹320 for each additional subject. The practical fee is ₹160 per subject. For students from Nepal, the fee for five subjects is ₹5,500. A fee of ₹1,100 is required for each additional subject. For students from other countries, the fee is ₹11,000. A fee of ₹2,200 is required for each additional subject. Fee payments are accepted only through online mode. Payments can be made through internet banking, UPI, debit cards, or credit cards.

Private students should do this quickly.
The deadline for submitting examination forms for private students in grades 10 and 12 is September 30, 2025. Failure to do so will result in disqualification for the board exams. Failure to do so on time will result in a late fee of ₹2,000. The portal for submitting forms with a late fee will be open from October 3 to October 11. The fee for students in grades 10 and 12 without a late fee is ₹320 per subject. The fee for students from Nepal is ₹1,100 per subject. The fee for students from other countries is ₹2,200.
Students who have been included in the ‘Essential Repeat’ or ‘Compartment’ categories for the 2024-25 board exams can appear. Students who were categorized as failed/essential repeat in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 can also appear as private students. Students who passed in 2025 and wish to improve their performance can also appear as private students in one or more subjects.
