CBSE has issued an important notice regarding registration. Schools and students will have to follow some rules. The process of submitting LOC will start from 29th August. Let’s know what to do and what not to do?
CBSE New Rules: A big update has come out regarding class 10th and 12th board exam 2026. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important notice. List of Candidates i.e. LOC submission is important for board exams. Every year schools have to submit the list of students who will appear in the board exam along with the necessary information, documents and subjects. Only these students are considered eligible for the exam.
This year CBSE has made many changes in the LOC process. It will be mandatory to follow the new rules. After submitting the LOC, no consideration will be given to change of subject, admission in class 10th and 12th and concessions to CWSN candidates. Schools have been instructed to keep the information of the student’s personal details (candidate’s name, parent’s name, date of birth, subject code and subject combination, category etc.) ready. It will also have to be ensured that the data is accurate. Schools have also been instructed to organize a detail orientation for class 10th. Also, information about its second board exam will have to be given to the parents.
What will be new this time?
Let us tell you that in 2026, CBSE is going to conduct two examinations for class 10th. The first exam will be conducted in February-March. In which all the students will have to appear. LOC can be filled for the second exam anytime after the first exam is over.
The board has decided to link the Apaar ID with the LOC data of class 10th and 12th.
This year the board is also going to provide LOC portal for CWSN candidates. Instructions have been given to collect the data of such students and submit it on the portal. Schools will not be allowed to do this work after the deadline is over.
