Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 10th 2020 board examiner will get the benefit of skill subject in the result this time. If the 10th student fails in one of their main three subjects Mathematics, Science and Social Science, then the student will be replaced by the sixth subject (if taken a skill subject) which means they will be passed. This facility of the board will also affect the 10th result of 2020. This time the number of failed candidates will be less in the result. Only students who have taken skill as the sixth subject will be benefited by this. At present, more than 100 skill subjects are running in the 10th standard.

It is to be known that the compartmental examination was required to pass the failed candidate in the main subject. Now if you fail in one subject, then they will not have to take a compartmental examination, instead they will pass the skill subject. The board introduced the facility to have a skill subject as the sixth subject in class 10th in 2019. In 2019, this facility was also extended to the students of IX.

Students can make career ahead by taking skill subject: This has been started for students to have a tendency towards skill subject. With this, students will also be able to know their interest. Such students can also increase their interest as a career, because now the board has also added the skill subject in 11th and 12th. Hundreds of career options in the field of engineering, medical will be available by studying the subject.

12th board examiners will get benefit from 2022, 12th board examiners will also get the benefit
from next year. According to CBSE, the candidates who have given 12th board in 2022 will get an opportunity to replace the main subject with the skill subject. CBSE has given an opportunity for students of the 11th to 2020 session from the skill subject, students who will keep the skill subject will get an opportunity to replace the skill subject if they fail in one of the subjects in the board examination.

Sanyam Bhardwaj (Controller of Examinations, CBSE) said, this will be the benefit of students in the 10th board result of 2020. Students who have taken the skill subject as the sixth subject will benefit from it. They will be able to replace it with their main subject. This will also have a positive impact on the number of failed students.
