Check PF Balance: Check the amount of PF in these four ways, know the easy way

New Delhi: If your PF is getting deducted while working, then this news is going to be very useful for you. EPFO organization deducts PF of employees. In such a situation, if you want to see the amount of PF, then there is no need to worry now. EPFO is now providing the facility of checking money in many ways. You can easily do this work in four ways.




Now there is no need to go anywhere to check your PF. You can easily see the amount of PF right away. You can easily check your balance through EPFO website and UMANG App. Another way is also easy, through which you can check your PF balance through missed call or SMS.

View amount by missed call

A missed call has to be made on 011-22901406 from the register number linked to the PF account. Immediately after making a missed call, you will receive a message on your register number, in which PF balance information will be given.

  • Download Umang App on your smartphone through Play Store.
  • Register your phone number and login to the app.
  • Go to the menu given in the top left corner and go to ‘Service Directory’.
  • Here search for EPFO option and click on it.
  • After going to View Passbook here, check the balance through your UAN number and OTP.

Details will be received through SMS

  • You can check PF account balance through SMS, but for this your UAN number should be registered with EPFO.
  • SMS to 7738299899 by writing EPFOHO UAN from the registered mobile number.
  • If you want the details related to the balance in any other language including Hindi, then you will have to write a three-letter code of the language. For Hindi, message has to be written by writing EPFOHO UAN HIN.

Visit the official website

  • Log on to the EPFO website. Click on E-Passbook.
  • On clicking on the e-passbook, a new page will be taken in.
  • You have to fill your User Name (UAN Number), Password and Captcha.
  • After filling all the details, you will come to a new page and here you will have to select the member ID.
  • Here you will get your EPF balance on e-passbook.
