Northwest India
The effects of cold are likely to persist in northwest India. The Meteorological Department has predicted a cold wave in many parts of Rajasthan, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh on January 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18. Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will experience a cold wave accompanied by snowfall. Dense fog will prevail in many districts in the morning, resulting in bone-chilling cold. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will remain unchanged for the time being, and the day will be sunny.
Eastern and Central India
The effects of cold will persist in eastern and central India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for January 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, warning that a cold wave will bring bone-chilling cold to many areas in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand. There will be no respite from dense morning fog in many districts.
Northeast India

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for cold waves in Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Mizoram, along with dense fog in the morning in several districts. South India
