There is big news about teacher recruitment. Today, the court, while holding an important hearing, has rejected the appointment process of 18 thousand teachers. Apart from this, the planning policy has also been repealed by the High Court. A few days ago, the court reserved the verdict while holding the final hearing in the matter.
During the hearing, the state government upheld the state’s planning policy and said in court that this policy has been made keeping in mind the many circumstances of Jharkhand. The Jharkhand High Court on Monday gave a big verdict in the planning policy case, rejecting 100 per cent reservation for locals. On the plea challenging the planning policy enacted and implemented by the Government of Jharkhand, the full bench of the court, announcing the important decision, has canceled the appointment process of 18,000 teachers.
A petition was filed in the High Court against reserving all posts in the scheduled 13 districts of the state for the local people. The court reserved its decision after hearing all the parties in the past. During the hearing, all the judges of the full bench agreed that some section of advertisement number 21 was directed to publish fresh advertisement for the scheduled district. The appointments already made in the scheduled districts of the state have also been canceled. Apart from this, the notification issued by the Governor was also rejected. Appointment will continue in non-scheduled districts.
CM himself will distribute appointment letter for teacher recruitment in UP
The appointment process of 31,661 assistant teachers has been expedited on the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, who is busy preparing more and more government jobs for the youth in the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will now hand over appointment letters to some of them within a week.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Basic Education Department has given impetus to the recruitment of assistant teachers for 31661 posts in the state. These 31661 posts are from the posts of 69000 assistant trainers, whose appointment is not barred by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court directed the recruitment of 31,661 teachers out of 69000 about four months ago. After this, candidates did not get appointment letters even after four months due to Corona virus infection.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state government is committed to provide adequate opportunities for the employment of youth. Constant efforts are being made on this behalf from our side. A day earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had directed the Basic Education Department that the appointments of 31,661 teachers should be done within a week as per the Supreme Court’s May 21, 2020 decision.
