The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online application process for CUET UG 2026 on January 3, 2026. Interested students can apply by visiting the NTA’s official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. When will the exam be held?
The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted between May 11 and May 31, 2026. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at exam centers across the country and abroad. Students will be informed about the exam date, shift, and center information later through the admit card.

Who can apply?
To appear for CUET UG 2026, candidates must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board or institute. Students who are due to take their 12th grade exams in 2026 can also apply. There is no age limit for this exam. This means students need not worry about their age.
How much will the application fee be?
The application fee for General category students is ₹1,000. OBC (non-creamy layer) and EWS category candidates will have to pay ₹900. SC, ST, differently-abled, and third-gender candidates will have to pay ₹800. Candidates choosing examination centers outside India will have to pay ₹4,500.

- Click on the “Registration for CUET (UG) 2026” link on the homepage.
- Select the “New Registration” option and proceed.
- Now, fill in all the required information, such as name, mobile number, and email ID, and submit.
- Login after completing the registration.
- After logging in, fill in your educational information, exam center choice, and other details on the dashboard.
- Following this, upload your photo, signature, and required documents in the correct size.
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form.
- Finally, take a printout of the completed form and keep it with you.
