A new website for CUET UG has been launched. The application process will begin soon. The NTA has also issued some advice for candidates, which must be followed.
A major update has emerged for CUET UG 2026 candidates. The National Testing Agency issued an important notification on December 4th, providing some guidelines for candidates. These guidelines must be followed. A new official link has also been activated, providing all information related to the entrance exam. Candidates are advised to regularly check this link for updates.
Candidates are advised to keep certain documents updated before the application process to avoid any problems or rejections during the registration process. Candidates should update their name, date of birth, photograph, address, and father’s name on their Aadhaar card. Furthermore, their UDID card must be valid, updated, and renewed. SC, ST, EWS, and OBC NCL candidates must also keep their category certificates updated and valid.
When will applications begin?
The NTA has not yet announced any registration dates. However, based on previous years’ trends, it is estimated that the application process may begin in the first week of March 2026. The NTA’s exam calendar will also be released soon, including the expected exam dates. Based on the scores obtained, candidates will be admitted to UG courses in various central, state, private, deemed, and government colleges across the country. This exam is extremely important for those who have passed or passed class 12th.
The exam will be conducted at approximately 300 centers in India and abroad. Additionally, approximately 200 universities are expected to participate this year, including Banaras Hindu University, Delhi University, Allahabad University, and several central universities. Fees will be announced soon.
How to Register
- First, visit the official website https://cuet.nta.nic.in/.
- On the home page, click on the UG Registration 2026 link. Click on the New CUET UG Registration option.
- A new page will open. Select the New Registration option.
- Complete the registration process by entering the required information.
- Afterward, log in and fill out the application form properly.
- Pay the fee and submit the form.
- Remove the confirmation page and keep it for future reference.
