Cyclone Alert: Due to cyclonic storm Senyar, there will be torrential rain in these states, IMD issued alert

Cyclone Alert: Cyclone Senyar is expected to cause isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 26 and 27. Heavy rainfall alerts are also in place for Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Cyclone Senyar: A warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for South India due to Cyclone Senyar. The low pressure area over the Strait of Malacca and adjacent northeastern Indonesia has now intensified into Cyclone Senyar. This will cause isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 26th and 27th.

Additionally, a heavy rainfall alert is issued for isolated areas on November 28th and 29th. This means heavy rainfall will continue for a total of four days. A low-pressure area has formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal and adjacent southern Sri Lanka. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Tamil Nadu from November 26th to December 1st. Extremely heavy rainfall is also expected at isolated areas on November 29th and 30th. Furthermore, isolated areas of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema will also experience heavy rainfall on November 29th and 30th.

Furthermore, regarding the weather, the minimum temperature in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh is below six degrees Celsius. Temperatures are hovering between seven and ten degrees Celsius in isolated areas of Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, several areas of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, northern Rajasthan, and isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar. In the plains of India, the lowest temperature of four degrees Celsius was recorded in Sikar district of eastern Rajasthan.

There will be no significant change in minimum temperatures over northwest India for the next 24 hours. After this, the mercury will rise by two degrees Celsius for three days and then fall by three degrees.
