Punjab National Bank has changed its debit card rules. The bank has reduced the daily ATM withdrawal limit for some debit cards. Some cards allow daily ATM withdrawals of up to ₹50,000, while others allow daily ATM withdrawals of up to ₹75,000.
Debit Card Withdrawal: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has halved the daily cash withdrawal limit for select debit cards (ATM cards). Currently, some debit cards allowed daily withdrawals of ₹1 lakh. This limit has now been halved, allowing daily withdrawals of only ₹50,000. These new debit card rules will come into effect on April 1, 2026. The bank has taken this decision to strengthen risk control and enhance customer security.
This change will not apply to all cards; only select debit cards have been reduced. PNB has revised the cash limit by dividing its debit cards into two categories. Cards with a ₹1 lakh limit have been reduced to ₹50,000. Similarly, cards with a ₹1.50 lakh limit have been reduced to ₹75,000.
