Deep Sidhu’s car met with an accident on Tuesday night when he was going from Delhi to Bathinda. After the accident, he lost his life on the spot. Deep was in Scorpio and he was accompanied by his fiancé and actress Reena Rai. Reena is admitted in the hospital.
New Delhi: Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu died in a road accident on Tuesday. This is the same Deep Sidhu, who came into the limelight during the Red Fort Violence on 26 January 2021 during the Farmers’ Agitation and was named as the main accused. Deep Sidhu was going from Delhi to Bathinda. The accident happened on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, when his car rammed into a trolley.
How terrible was the accident of Deep Sidhu, it can be ascertained from the pictures and videos of the crashed vehicle. Police has started action on Deep Sidhu’s death. Police is also probing from this angle whether there is any conspiracy behind this accident. The reason for this is that Deep Sidhu was getting death threats.

It is being told that he was accompanied by his fiancee and actress Reena Rai, who is currently admitted in Kharkhoda hospital. Just one day before the accident, Reena Rai shared a photo of her with Deep on Instagram. In the picture, Deep is seen posing with Reena Rai.

Born on 2 April 1984, Deep Sidhu died at the age of 37. He started his career with the Punjabi film Ramta Jogi, but in recent times he was in the news for being active in the farmers’ movement and the subsequent arrest. His father Sardar Surjit Singh was a lawyer. Deep Sidhu’s mother died when he was just 4 years old. Hearing the news of Deep Sidhu’s untimely death, a wave of mourning ran among his fans. Punjab CM Charanjit Channi, leader of Shiromani Akali Dal, Aam Aadmi Party and CM candidate Bhagwant Mann are prominent among those who expressed their condolences.
