Delhi: 44 FIRs arrested in Tractor Rally violence case, 122 people including 80 years old

According to the Supreme Court guidelines, the families of those arrested can also get information from police stations. DCP Singhal said that the investigation done by the Delhi Police is transparent and fair.

The Delhi Police has so far arrested 122 people and registered 44 FIRs, including those from the 70s and 80s, in connection with the violence during the Kishan tractor parade on Republic Day.




Delhi Police spokesman Dr Ish Singhal said that “44 FIRs have been registered so far and 122 people have been arrested.” The police has sent notices to 54 farm leaders and 200 owners of tractors – but they have not responded. Police said that tractor owners have been called for questioning.
