Delhi Government demands Oxygen Express train, Railways says keep trucks ready

The chairman of the railway board told that they have just received the request of the Delhi government to supply oxygen and they are making arrangements for this soon.

New Delhi. Every effort is being made to save the hospitals of Delhi from the crisis and save the lives of patients, who are suffering from lack of oxygen for the patients of Corona. Under this, the Delhi government had demanded to send oxygen express train from the railways. After this, the chairman of the railway board told that we have just received their demand and we have asked them to prepare trucks carrying oxygen. We will try to supply as soon as possible. The Chairman of the Railway Board informed that the supply of oxygen to Delhi is being tried from Rourkela, Angul of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Also, he told that every oxygen express can carry 16 tonnes of oxygen.

Delhi’s oxygen supply is in a bad condition. There are some hospitals here where oxygen has run out or there is a rest of hours. In such a situation, the lives of corona patients as well as patients suffering from other serious diseases are in danger. The doctors and the hospital administration are trying their best to save their lives by giving oxygen to the patients in some way.

Significantly, due to Corona infection in Delhi, the situation is getting worse. In Sir Gangaram Hospital, 25 patients have died in 24 hours and the lives of 60 seriously ill people are in danger. The urgent need for oxygen was stated in the message sent by the hospital. There was only oxygen left in the hospital for a few hours. The hospital said that ventilator and bilevel positive airway pressure is not working effectively. Ventilation is being done manually in the ICU and ED.

After this, the oxygen tanker of Delhi reached Sir Gangaram Hospital. This tanker was reached amidst heavy security. At the same time, the Tamirdar and the hospital administration breathed peace as soon as the oxygen tanker arrived.
