Delhi Metro Rail Corporation also gave this information on its X handle. Along with this, people have been appealed to leave home with more time. DMRC has made several tweets on X. Giving an update to the passengers in the post, Delhi Metro wrote- ‘The problem of cable theft on the Blue Line between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar will be fixed only after the operation time ends at night, since trains will run at restricted speed on the affected section during the day, there will be some delay in services. Passengers are requested to plan their journey keeping in view the current situation, as the journey will take some extra time. ‘ DMRC has also apologized for this inconvenience.

In another post, DMRC wrote that ‘A case of theft and damage of signaling cables has been reported by some thieves/miscreants between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar metro stations. Train services are being regulated on the Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21 – Noida Electronic City / Vaishali) since this morning. Due to this, trains are running at limited speed in this section, as well as trains are standing together. However, normal train services are available on the rest of the section of the Blue Line.’ To avoid inconvenience to the public during the day, necessary repairs will be done at night after the revenue service is closed.
