In Delhi, the lockdown will remain in force from 10 pm on Monday to 5 am next Monday (19 April 10 pm to 26 April 5 am).

On its official Twitter account, Delhi Metro has released the necessary information for the passengers, writing that during peak hours (8 am to 10 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm), the metro trains will run at half-an-hour frequency, While the frequency of the remaining time metro services will be 1 hour.

These conditions will be required to travel in Delhi Metro

The Delhi Metro has said in its statement that only those involved in essential services will be allowed to travel in the metro during the lockdown. For this, passengers have to show their valid I-card at the entry. Passengers who do not have valid I-card associated with essential services, will not be allowed to travel. Along with this, Delhi Metro has also said that only 50 percent passengers in the train will be allowed to travel. During the lockdown, no passengers will be allowed to stand in the metro train and travel.
