Delhi Mumbai Expressway: There is going to be another big development work in India, which is moving towards rapid development. Or just say that the work is in progress, in just a short time you will start seeing results. Soon you will see the largest expressway in the country between Delhi and Mumbai in India. Its length is about 1305 km, which will cost about 90 thousand crores to build. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari himself has tweeted about it, in which a video has also been shared.

Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be ready by January 2023

This expressway was started in 2018 and laid the foundation stone on 9 March 2019. More than 1000 kilometers of contracts have been awarded and work is in progress. The Delhi to Dausa section will connect Jaipur, which is part of the Jaipur Expressway and the Vadodara to Ankleshwar section will connect the economic hub Baruch. Both these sections will start by this year i.e. November 2021. By January 2023, the entire expressway will be ready.

These expressways will pass through a total of 5 states, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. This expressway will also provide excellent connectivity to economic hubs like Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Kota, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Ahmedabad and Surat. This expressway will be constructed in 5 years, which is quite fast. Let us know that Indonesia’s Trans Java Road of 1167 kilometer was completed in 2019 after two decades. At the same time, Japan’s Syntoma Expressway of 217 km was completed in Japan in 2000, which took about a decade to be built.

– After the construction of this expressway the distance between Delhi and Mumbai will be reduced by about 130 kilometers.

– The time taken to travel from Delhi to Mumbai will be reduced from 24 hours to half that is 12 hours.

– This will save about 32 crore liters of fuel every year.

Due to this, the emission of carbon dioxide will be reduced by about 85 million km annually, which is equivalent to planting 40 million trees.

– 1.5 million trees will be planted around the expressway.

– This will be the first expressway in Asia and the second in the world, on which animal overpasses will be built, so that animals do not have any problem in crossing the road in the forest.

– This expressway has 3 underpasses and 5 overpasses.

– It will take more than 5 lakh tonnes of steel to build this expressway, which is equivalent to about 20 Howrah Bridge.

– About 50 crore cubic meters of land will be moved, which will be through 6 million truck trips.

– It will take 3.5 million tonnes of cement, which is about 1 percent of the total production of the country.

– Around 15 lakh wage days will be generated from this express, which will provide employment to thousands.

Advance technology is being used to accelerate the work, in which drone survey is being done.
