1. Digital voter identity card will be available in PDF format and new voters will also get a hard copy of their voter ID card.
2. In the first phase between January 25 and January 31, only new voters will be given Digital Voter Identity Card.
3. The second phase will start from 1 February. In this, those people whose phone numbers are connected to the Election Commission will be able to download their digital voter ID card.
4. Voters whose phone numbers are not linked will have to link to avail the download facility.
5. With this voter card, a secure QR code with serial number, part number etc. will be given and people will also be able to vote.
6. People will also get rid of the hassle of printing physical cards with digital voter cards.
7. To download the Digital Voter ID Card, first of all you have to login at https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/. After this, click on the option of download e-EPIC. The download facility will be available from 11.14 am on 25 January.

9. You will not have to go far to make new voter cards or make changes to old cards. You can make a digital voter ID card by downloading the Electronic Electors Photo Identity App (e-EPIC) on your phone.

How will be the digital card
This card will be the same as the hard copy. The digital card will be found as a PDF file. You will be able to download it on your phone or computer. This soft copy will also have a QR code which will include all the information related to the voters. There will be complete information of name, date of birth and address.
