Still, if you want to sleep at the metro station, then Delhi Metro has fulfilled your wish. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started the facility of pod hotel named Metrostay. Here you can rest overnight in a comfortable pod by paying an initial price of just Rs 400.
Which stations have pod hotels?
Delhi Metro has arranged for pod hotel only at New Delhi Metro Station. That is, apart from New Delhi Metro Station, there is no facility for overnight stay at any other metro station at the moment. In future, DMRC may provide such facility at some other stations as well.
Why only at New Delhi station?
Metro pod hotel has been arranged at New Delhi Metro station. Because Delhi Metro’s Airport Express line also starts from here. Passengers coming after a long air journey can relax in this pod hotel of New Delhi Metro station by paying just Rs 400. Not only this, New Delhi Metro station is directly connected to New Delhi railway station of Indian railway network. From here one can reach New Delhi railway station on foot. In such a situation, passengers coming from a long and tiring train journey or going on a long journey can also relax in this pod hotel.

What facilities will be available in Metrostay?
According to the video shared on Instagram, Metrostay has a comfortable bunk bed with ample space. You don’t even need to worry about your belongings because a digital locker has been provided here to keep your belongings safe. So that you can sleep comfortably. Apart from this, co-working space is also provided here. That is, you can sit here and do your office work comfortably.

This pod hotel located at New Delhi Metro Station has taken care of your entertainment. There is also a game area here, which has indoor games like carrom and a comfortable seating area. There is also a theater here to watch movies. Keeping in mind the safety of women, there is also a separate female dormitory and washroom for them in this pod hotel.
