Driving License making rule change: Big news! Now you will have to complete this work to get a driving license, new rules issued

Now you will have to work hard to get a driving license in Bihar. From March, you will have to give a test on a testing track to get a driving license in all the districts of Bihar. Currently, this facility is available in Patna and Aurangabad. Tracks are to be built in 36 districts of the state, out of which tracks are almost ready in 26 districts. Work is going on in the remaining 10 districts.

Driving License: From March, to get a driving license in all the districts of Bihar, one will have to give a test on the testing track. Currently, this facility is available in Patna, Aurangabad. In this, the test has to be given under the surveillance of the camera.

According to the Transport Department, tracks are to be built in a total of 36 districts of the state, out of which tracks are almost ready in 26 districts. The plan is under process in the remaining 10 districts. Funds have been made available to speed up the construction work in these districts. The target has been given to complete the work by March in these districts.

After the testing track is built, there will be transparency in making driving licenses. All applicants will have to give the test online and then under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Only those who know the traffic rules and know how to drive will be able to get a driving license.

In the departmental review, it has come to light that in the districts where this system is not in place, licenses are being made without testing with the help of agents. Due to this, the construction of the testing track has been asked to be completed quickly.

Work completed in these 26 districts

Motihari, Purnia, Banka, Nawada, Bhagalpur, Kaimur, Darbhanga, Kishanganj, Nalanda, Shivhar, Samastipur, Jehanabad, Sitamarhi, Rohtas, Munger, Sheikhpura, Jamui, Bettiah, Buxar, Araria, Vaishali, Lakhisarai, Khagaria, Saran, Madhubani and Madhepura.

How to get DL

  • Get the application form from your nearest RTO (Regional Transport Office) or apply online.
  • Submit identity proof, address proof, age proof, and four passport size photographs.
  • After submitting the application form and documents, you have to give an exam for learning license. This exam is about traffic rules and road safety.
  • The validity of learning license is 6 months. During this time you have to learn driving and prepare for the exam.
  • During the validity of learning license, you have to give driving test. This exam evaluates your driving ability.
  • After passing the driving test, you will be issued a driving license.

How is the driving test conducted?

Vehicle inspection: In the first phase of the test, you will have to inspect your vehicle. This includes checking the headlights, taillights, brake lights, and tires.

Driving test: Next, you will have to take a driving test. In this, you will have to drive in different road conditions, such as straight roads, curves, and traffic signals.

Following traffic rules: During the test, you will have to follow traffic rules, such as speed limits, traffic signals, and pedestrian crossings.

Controlling the vehicle: You will have to show the ability to control your vehicle, such as braking, pressing the accelerator, and steering.

Safety measures: During the test, you will have to follow safety measures, such as wearing a seatbelt and not using a mobile phone.
