It will be implemented in all RTO offices of Uttar Pradesh from February 1 onwards.

GST collection expected to be at record level in January, estimated at Rs 1.23 lakh crore

Increased quota for applicants

According to the Transport Department official, more than two lakh applications are pending in the entire state due to lack of date. The reason behind this is that currently the quota of application forms is quite low. With this, the applicants are not able to get a time slot. For this, quota of application forms will be increased in 74 districts. The quota for DL applicants was first increased in Lucknow as an experiment. Its result was that all types of DL applicants started getting dates for making DL within 15 days. In such a situation, on January 28, the date of DL application is getting till February 10. Given this, it is now being implemented in the entire state.
