Driving License Suspended: Driving licenses of 982 people suspended, action taken for several reasons including not paying challan

Most licenses suspended in January

Talking about the figures, the most number of licenses suspended in January was 473. Out of these, 185 people were driving under the influence of alcohol, 73 people were without helmets and some people were driving without permits. In February, 243 people’s licenses were suspended. Out of these, 203 people were caught for driving under the influence of alcohol and rash driving, while some people were not wearing seat belts and helmets. In March, a total of 266 licenses were suspended.
