Dubai Flights Update: Akasa Air has also announced the resumption of select services after reviewing the security situation. According to the airline, flights will resume between Riyadh and Mumbai, while services from Jeddah to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, and Kozhikode will continue.
Dubai Flights Update: Amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, airlines are operating their flights in a limited and phased manner. Air India, Air India Express and IndiGo have decided to resume their services to Dubai on Wednesday. Air India and Air India Express will operate a total of 48 flights to West Asia on Thursday (March 19).
According to an official Air India statement, a total of 48 flights will be operated on Thursday. These will include 16 regular flights and 32 special flights, which will also be available for Dubai. IndiGo announced on the social media platform ‘X’ that flights to Dubai have been resumed from 4 pm local time on March 18, following the latest guidelines from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.
Akasa will also resume select services.

Flights to Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Kuwait suspended
However, the company’s flights to Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Kuwait will remain suspended until March 21. Aviation services have been affected by the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran that began on February 28 and the airspace restrictions. So far, approximately 260,000 people have returned to India from West Asia during this period.
