The Indian Road and Transport Ministry has issued a new guideline, under which you do not need to go out to get a driving license, renew the license and renew the RC.

New Guidelines – The  Indian Road and Transport Ministry has issued a new guideline, under which you do not need to go out to get a driving license, renew the license and renew the RC. Now you can do all these things online from home.

Driving license –  According to the new guideline, now people can apply online for learner’s license. All the work from license application to printing will be done online. Documents required for learner’s license, driving license surrender and its renewal can be uploaded online.

RC renewal –  According to the guidelines, now the work related to RC can also be done from home, for this people do not have to go outside. The RC renewal can now be done 60 days in advance, with this the time limit for temporary registration has now been increased from 1 month to 6 months.

Due to the Corona epidemic, now people who apply for Learner License do not need to go to RTO to give driving test. This work can now be done from home, through online tutorials.

Validity of DL, RC increased – The  Ministry of Roads and Transport has now increased the validity of driving license, registration certificate, fitness certificate and permit etc. to 30 June 2021, in view of the crisis in Corona. That is, the documents that expire on 1 February 2020 will now be considered valid till 30 June 2021.
