Bihar Assembly elections Date: The curtain has been lifted today on when the Bihar Assembly elections will be held. The Election Commission of India announced the dates on Monday evening. This time the elections will be held in two phases. Voting will be held in the first phase on November 6, while in the second phase on November 11, the counting of votes will be done simultaneously on November 14.
According to the schedule released by the Election Commission, Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases. In the first phase, voting will be held on November 6 in 121 assembly constituencies of 18 districts, for which notification will be issued on October 10. In the second phase, voting will be held on November 11 in 122 assembly constituencies of 20 districts, for which notification will be issued on October 13.
First phase of election process, 121 seats
- The notification will be issued on Friday, October 10th.
- The last date for filing nominations is Friday, October 17th.
- Scrutiny of nominations is Saturday, October 18th.
- The last date for withdrawal of nominations is Monday, October 20th.
- Voting is Thursday, November 6th.
Second Phase Election Process: 122 seats
- Notification will be issued on Monday, October 13th.
- Last date for filing nominations is Monday, October 20th.
- Scrutiny of nominations is Tuesday, October 21st.
