The Electricity Department in the district has also received a letter, through which this process will be implemented. Special Secretary Rajkumar stated in his written letter that consumers in all districts were facing problems. Consumers were unable to pay their bills in one lump sum. To address this, the department has removed the lump sum scheme and implemented a provision for paying electricity bills in installments. This process has also been implemented in the district.
Suresh Chandra Varshney, District President of the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Mandal, and Satish Chandra Gupta, District President of the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal, welcomed this government initiative. They stated that the government has taken a good initiative for electricity consumers, which is commendable.
