The government has released the calendar for the holidays of central employees for the new year 2024. Modi government has given the option of 14 compulsory holidays along with 2 optional holidays to the central employees.

The government has released the calendar for the holidays of central employees for the new year 2024. Modi government has given the option of 14 compulsory holidays along with 2 optional holidays to the central employees. For this, an order has been issued by DOPT.
Holiday calendar of central employees released
In the year 2024, holidays given in the order will be available in all the central government offices in Delhi and New Delhi. Apart from this, every employee will be allowed to take any 2 holidays in the given list as optional holiday. There has been no change in the dates of holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Zuha, Muharram and Eid-e-Milad for Delhi and New Delhi offices. This will depend on the visibility of the moon.
