EPFO i.e. Employees Provident Fund Organization has tried to benefit the employees by taking many big steps in the difficult times of corona virus and lockdown. Lakhs of employees have also made their lives easier with these facilities. Now EPFO ​​has given an advice to companies so that the problems related to PF account of employees can be resolved. The EPFO ​​has asked employers to solve employee problems by creating accounts on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Also said that if a case is pending with the EPFO, it can also be given through social media.

EPFO has written on its official Twitter handle, ‘Dear employers, please create a Facebook and Twitter account and encourage employees to raise their problems and complaints on this platform. Please answer their questions immediately and resolve their grievances.

The EPFO ​​has also written that many workers are unable to go on the job due to the lockdown. Also, due to all the traffic restrictions, companies are also unable to reach their employees. In such a situation, many works related to EPF are pending. These can be resolved easily through social media.

It has also been said that if an employee needs help from EPFO, they can file their problem or complaint at http://epfigms.gov.in.

It is the in-house grievance redressal platform of EPFO. The organization claims that 92 per cent of the complaints coming here have been resolved within 20 days. The remaining approximately 4 percent of the problems are resolved between 20 and 30 days and less than 60 days.

EPFO has more than 6 crore customers, 1.2 million employers and 65 lakh pensioners. EPFO has a robust mechanism for redressal of grievances of account holders. The organization works closely with the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, with 21 regional offices, 138 regional offices and 117 district offices.
