These new rates will be applicable on FDs of amount less than Rs 3 crore. These new FD rates have come into effect from 16 December 2024. Federal Bank is offering interest rates ranging from 3% to 7.4% to general citizens (below 60 years of age). These rates are for FDs ranging from 7 days to 5 years or more. The highest interest rate is 7.4%, which is available on FDs of 777 days.
Revised interest rates on Federal Bank FDs
For senior citizens of 60 years or above, the bank will offer interest ranging from 3.5% to 7.9%. Senior citizens are getting the highest interest rate of 7.9% on FDs of 777 days and 50 months. Only 7.85% interest will be available on FDs of 400 days. With these new interest rates of the bank, investors will get better returns on FDs.
