Bhopal. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) America has offered membership to over 800 film professionals in 68 countries to give themselves a wider and more diverse representation. The academy is known worldwide for its annual awards. It is popular all over the world under the name ‘The Oscar’.



Newly invited members include celebrities from Hollywood and Bollywood, including many Indian film professionals. It stars Amit Mahadesia and Nishtha Jain along with Bhopal documentary filmmaker Shirley Abraham. Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan have also been nominated in this list. The joke was about selection.
Shirley says that at 3 pm on July 1, one of my journalist friends forwarded me the list of Oscar Jury, in which my name was. Together, she wrote a congratulatory message. I thought, everyone has more time in lockdown, friend has joked with me. The truth was realized when I actually got a call from Oscar and they asked me about my acceptance. I have given them my consent on this.



The difficult road to choose for himself is
his famous documentary, The Cinema Travelers. Which has received nominations at the Cannes, New York and Toronto Film Festivals. Along with this, the film has also received the National Award President Gold Medal. He has directed two more films with Amit Mahadesia. It has – Searching for Saraswati, The R of Lynching. He has also been awarded for these films. After joining the film industry, everyone advised that if you want to become a big film maker, then you should work with big banners. For me, film making has always come from within me and that is why I have worked independently. It was quite difficult, but now I believe that the result of hard work will be sweet.
