Fog at Patna Airport on Wednesday delayed several flights, causing inconvenience to passengers. Two flights to and from Hyderabad were cancelled. Flights arriving from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru were also delayed. The Bengaluru flight suffered the most delays. The flight cancellations caused difficulties for passengers seeking ticket refunds and rescheduling.
Many flights arriving at Patna airport were delayed on Wednesday. Passengers faced inconvenience due to fog and poor visibility. A total of 14 pairs of flights arriving from various cities were delayed.
Two flights arriving and departing from Hyderabad had to be cancelled. Air India Express flight IX 1197 arriving from Delhi landed 17 minutes late. Indigo’s Delhi-Patna flight 6E 5104 arrived 33 minutes late, while Air India flight AI 2523 was delayed by 32 minutes.
Several flights were delayed
Another Indigo flight, 6E 6379, from Delhi, landed 19 minutes late, and Indigo’s 6E 6643 was delayed 28 minutes. Air India flight AI 1746 was also delayed 19 minutes from Delhi.
Indigo flight 6E 6348, arriving from Kolkata, landed 23 minutes late, and 6E 2524, arriving from Ghaziabad, was delayed 20 minutes. Indigo flight 6E 921, arriving from Ahmedabad, was delayed 16 minutes, and Indigo’s 6E 6223, arriving from Hyderabad, was delayed 20 minutes.
Indigo flights were the most delayed
Indigo flight 6E 2043, arriving from Mumbai, landed 52 minutes late, Air India’s AI 2789, was delayed 26 minutes, and SpiceJet’s SG 336, landed 45 minutes late. IndiGo flight 6E 6277 from Bengaluru was delayed by 54 minutes, making it one of the most delayed flights of the day.
Meanwhile, SpiceJet flight SG 876 from Hyderabad to Patna was cancelled, forcing passengers to face difficulties in ticket refunds and rescheduling.
