Runway repair work
Actually, repair work is going to be done on an important runway 10/28 of Delhi Airport. Runway upgradation work will be done from June 15 to September 15, 2025, due to which it is being temporarily closed. Due to the closure of the runway, many flight services will be affected. Flights have been canceled. At the same time, many flight services will be affected. Timings of many planes will be changed. Due to this update, 114 incoming and outgoing flights have been canceled daily.

What is being upgraded?
Two major technical improvements are being made on Delhi International Airport’s runway 10/28. The effect of those improvements will be visible in the coming days. The instrument landing system on the runway is being upgraded so that landing and take-off can be made more accurate and safe. At the same time, CAT-3B system is being installed, which will make the landing of flights more safe even in low visibility.
