Public parking users in Sharjah will be exempt from parking fees on first, second and third day of Eid Al Fitr 2026, authorities have announced.
Free Parking: This exemption does not apply to smart parking lots and public parking zones that are subject to fees throughout the week and on official holidays, as indicated by the blue informational signs.
Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced its readiness for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday through a comprehensive operational plan aimed at ensuring smooth and seamless mobility across public transport services in the emirate.
The plan includes operating 4,600 trips on intercity transport routes during the holiday, while reducing bus headways to just 5 minutes during peak hours, ensuring passenger comfort and minimizing congestion at stations.
Additionally, 12 public transport routes have been allocated, operating 1,144 trips daily across 527 bus stops using a fleet of 104 buses. As part of enhancing mobility options, 8 daily marine trips have been organized between the emirates of Sharjah and Dubai during the holiday, to meet passenger needs and provide a smooth and comfortable travel experience.
