Gold prices continue to fall nationwide. On the morning of March 20th, the price of 24-carat gold in the capital, Delhi, fell to ₹150,420 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the price fell to ₹150,270 per 10 grams. A day earlier, on March 19th, gold prices in Delhi’s bullion market saw a sharp decline. They fell by ₹7,000, or 4.37 percent, to ₹1,53,300 per 10 grams.

The decline is due to concerns about rising inflation, a tightening stance by central banks on policy rates, and rising global crude oil prices. The price of spot gold in the international market is $4,678.69 per ounce.

Gold Price in Delhi: The price of 24-carat gold in Delhi is ₹150,420 per 10 grams. The price of 22-carat gold is ₹137,890 per 10 grams.

Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata: Currently, the price of 22-carat gold in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata is ₹137,740 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold is ₹150,270 per 10 grams.

Price in Pune and Bengaluru: In these two cities, the price of 24-carat gold is ₹150,270 per 10 grams, and the price of 22-carat gold is ₹137,740 per 10 grams.

Silver price

Another precious metal, silver, is also declining. On the morning of March 19th, the price of silver was trading at ₹2,59,900 per kilogram. A day earlier, the price of silver in the Delhi bullion market fell ₹17,800, or nearly 7 percent, to ₹2,38,700 per kilogram. The spot price of silver in the international market is $70.49 per ounce.
