Chief Minister Manohar Lal has instructed the officials that the data of all employees including boards, corporations, universities etc. should be uploaded by the concerned nodal officers on November 30 on the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) portal. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also instructed the officials to create an online reservation roster system and develop an automated system to inform the recruitment agencies about the posts for direct recruitment to the vacant posts.
The Chief Minister was presiding over the review meeting of HRMS portal in Chandigarh on Monday. Various issues related to benefits and welfare of employees were also discussed in the meeting. For the purpose of timely disposal of cases of extension of service after the age of more than 50/55 years, the Chief Minister directed that all departments should use HRMS portal to take advance decision on all such cases.
The Chief Minister was apprised in the meeting that transfer orders would be issued through HRMS only, orders issued without HRMS would not be valid. In this case, the joining report and the relieving order will also not be issued by the HRMS system. Even temporary transfers within the department for a limited period will be done through HRMS.
In the meeting, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister D.S. Dhesi, Chief Secretary Vijay Vardhan, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister V. Umashankar, Principal Secretary General Administration Department Vijayendra Kumar, Deputy Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Ashima Brar and other officials were present.
