new Delhi. Due to the lockdown, many people have become unemployed. In such a situation, most have turned to farming. In such a situation, Haryana Government has brought a gift for them to make the farmers self-sufficient and doubling their income. Under this, now farmers will be given loans up to Rs 3 lakh without interest. This will give them a discount in the loan, which will enable them to earn more profits.

For this, the Haryana government has planned to give interest free loan for the farmers not to be burdened with interest. According to the state’s Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister JP Dalal, interest is usually charged at 7 percent on crop loans from banks. But this loan will be provided to the farmers at zero percent from the government. In this case, the central government and 4 percent of the state government will bear 3 percent of the loan interest. Apart from this, farmers will also be taught the tricks of finance management according to the usefulness and income of their land. For this, the Haryana Government has decided to include 17,000 farmer friends as volunteers. Who will give proper advice to other farmers.

Infrastructure will be improved
Out of the Rs 20 lakh crore of self-sufficient India package announced by the Central Government, one lakh crore rupees has been set aside for agricultural infrastructure. 3900 crores of which has been earmarked for Haryana. Infrastructure will be improved with these funds. Warehouse, agro based industry and other things will be developed with these funds. So that farmers can get more benefits.
