Compensation of Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme to farmers of eight districts

Now farmers of eight districts including Churu will get compensation under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme soon. The state government has deposited 70 crore rupees of the state premium for the districts of Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bundi, Jhalawar, Kota, Pali and Sawaimadhopur to the insurance companies, so that the farmers of these districts will be able to pay the insurance claim quickly. In Churu district, farmers will get claim of 1 lakh 30 thousand insurance policies. Whereas the eligible farmers will be paid a claim of around Rs 550 crore.

Explain that the insurance company disagreed with the assessment of the crop problem in Churu district by the officials of the Department of Agriculture and Revenue during the Corona lockdown.
