The latest news about this is that now the government has extended the date of interest subsidy on home loan to 31 March 2021 under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (PMAY CLSS). The benefit of this scheme will be given to families with an annual income of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 18 lakh. The scheme, launched in the year 2015 by the central government, provides 6.5 percent interest subsidy on home loans for 20 years, among other benefits. So now you know that to apply under PMAY scheme and avail subsidy on home loan, income group EWS, The last date for the LIG class is 31 March 2022. However, the middle income group ie MIG one and two customers can apply till March 31, 2021 to avail the PMAY scheme. Aadhaar number is mandatory to apply online for this scheme. Step 1: First of all , open the official website of PMAY http://pmaymis.gov.in .

Step 2: After coming here, you have to choose the option of Citizen Assessment link.

Step 3: After this, on choosing the option to enter your Aadhaar number, you will get ‘Check Aadhaar / VID No. Will be redirected to Existence’s page. On this page, you verify your information. Mainly you have to submit your Aadhaar number here.

Step 4: Enter the necessary information in relation to yourself, to this effect will be sent to you on the application page. Here you have to provide the necessary information such as beneficiary name, mobile number, email, all personal information, latest statement of income, bank account.

Step 5: Save the PMAY application. After all the information is entered, you will have to click on the button of the Disclaimer checkbox. After this you have to enter captcha. Now if you want, you can also take a printout of your application form.

Those who wish to apply for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana can also avail this facility by filling the form available in the Common Service Center (CSC).
