According to Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, all farmers will be given Kisan Credit Card (KCC). He said that even during the pandemic, farmers have been provided Kisan Credit Cards. The government has been running a campaign since last year to bring all the farmers under KCC.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the implementation of central schemes should be done in a proper manner and lack of money should not become a hindrance. He said that the benefits of central government schemes should reach the right farmers.
Farmers get cheap loans,
now KCC is not limited to agriculture only. Animal husbandry and fisheries can also get loans up to Rs 2 lakh under this. The government provides loans up to Rs 3 lakh to farmers through Kisan Credit Card. Although the interest on the loan is 9 percent, but it gets a subsidy of 2% from the government. With this, only 7 percent interest has to be paid on the loan.
Who can take KCC
Any person associated with farming, fisheries and animal husbandry, even if he cultivates on someone else’s land, can take advantage of it. Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 75 years. If the age of the farmer is more than 60 years, then a co-applicant will also be required. Whose age is less than 60. After filling the farmer’s form, the bank employee will see whether you are eligible for it or not.
The process of getting Kisan Credit Card
is easy to get KCC made. For this, first go to the official site https://pmkisan.gov.in/ and download the Kisan Credit Card form here. You have to fill this form with your land documents, crop details. Here you have to state that you have not made any other Kisan Credit Card from any other bank or branch. After this, fill the application form and submit, after which you will get the Kisan Credit Card from the concerned bank.
