Good News: Time relaxation for completing KYC process by linking UAN with Aadhar card

Presiding over the workshop organized at the regional office, he said that UAN has to be linked with Aadhaar. Those whose Aadhaar is not linked with UAN yet, they should add it soon. After this everyone has to complete the KYC process. Under the Social Security Code-2020, a campaign is being run for the institutions by the regional office of EPFO ​​located in Patna. It has to be completed before 31st August.

KYC mandatory for filling provident fund

After the implementation of Social Security Code 2020, KYC of UAN has been made mandatory for filling electronic challan cum return / provident fund. In this regard, relaxation has been given till August 31 so that all establishments and members can complete the Aadhaar KYC of UAN before this.

Then you will not be able to file ECR/invoice

All establishments registered under EPFO ​​have been asked to complete Aadhaar-UAN KYC of all their employees before August 31. From September 1, 2021 onwards, establishments whose UAN is not linked with Aadhaar and there is a difference between the two will not be able to file ECR/Challan.

Submit a joint declaration for correction in the basic details of the member



To deal with the problems of non-receipt of Aadhaar and PF data, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner and Nodal Officer Atul Prakash answered questions related to Aadhaar KYC of UAN in the workshop. Simultaneously, the member was advised to submit a joint declaration for correction in the basic details. If any amendment is to be made in the Aadhaar of the member, it has to be submitted along with the relevant documents at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
