Government fresh SOPs for offices: all employees of the center will now have to come to the working days office, read full Detail

The Union Ministry of Health has issued a new SOP to stop the spread of Corona Virus in offices. According to this, all employees of the central government will have to come to the office in working days. If one or two infection cases are reported in an office, then the process of disinfection will be limited to only the place / area where the patient has been or has been in the past 48 hours and work in the office again after the disinfection process is complete. Can be started. If there are too many case reports on a workplace then the entire block / building or office (depending on the scope of infection or infected) should be disinfected.

Officers and employees residing in the Containment Zone should inform their officers and will not be present in the office until the Containment Zone is over. Such employees will be allowed to work from home. The document states that offices located in the Containment Zone will be kept closed, they will only be allowed to open for medical and essential services.

These precautions will have to be followed in the office

The SOP states that only Asymptomatic employees or visitors will be allowed to enter the office. As far as possible in office, people have to maintain a minimum distance of six feet. Also, face cover or mask must be used at all times. The ministry said, “Masks should be worn properly to cover the nose and mouth. Touching the front of the mask or face cover should be avoided. ”

‘Meetings done through video-conferencing’

The order states that as long as possible meetings should be conducted through video-conferencing. Unless it is very important, face-to-face meetings should be avoided. The Ministry of Personnel has said in another order that all departmental canteens can be opened. It has also been said that the biometric attendance will be suspended till further orders.

Continuous decline in the number of daily deaths

The Union Health Ministry said on Sunday that the number of daily deaths from Kovid-19 has been declining continuously since 1 October 2020 in India, while the recovery rate of patients is one of the best rates in the world. The ministry said, “From October 1, 2020, there has been a steady decline in mortality from Kovid-19 in the country. To date, the death rate is less than 1.5 percent (1.43 percent). In India, the death rate in proportion to the infected is one of the lowest in the world.
