Ministry of Railways (Ministry of Railways) on Thursday launched HR Management System (HRMS) for its millions of employees and pensioners. Under this, employees will be able to get many important information online including PF balance, PF advance.

new Delhi. Indian Railway has launched online HR Management System (HRMS) on Thursday for its existing and retired employees. Under this HRMS, employees and pensioners will be able to complete many tasks online, including checking their PF balance and applying for PF advance. The Ministry of Railways issued a statement on Thursday, stating that through HRMS project, it will help in increasing productivity and satisfaction of employees. Railway Board Chairman and CEO Vinod Kumar Yadav launched the module and user depot of this HRMS for employees and pensioners through video conferencing.

It also has an Employee Self Service (ESS- Employee Self Service) module, through which employees will be able to interact with other modules of HRMS. Employees will be able to contact through this HRMS for many necessary improvements.

Will be able to apply for PF advance sitting at home

One of these modules is Provident Fund Advance (PF Advance). Through this, employees will be able to check their PF balance online at home and can apply for PF advance. Advance processing will be done online and employees will be able to check their PF application status online.

Settlement process of retiring employees will be online

Apart from this, Vinod Kumar Yadav also launched the settlement module. Under this, the settlement process of the retiring employees will be completed through digital medium. Retiring employees will be able to fill the settlement / pension booklet online. Service details and pension processing work of these employees will be completed online. This will help in saving paper and monitoring of settlement processing will also be done so that work can be completed on time.

Railways said in its statement, ‘This is a step towards increasing the efficiency and productivity of the railway system. Also, the vision of digitization by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be fulfilled. It is being hoped that with this HRMS, there will be many changes in the working style of all employees and they will be able to feel like a tech savvy.
